FM&NT-2018 is an international scientific conference with around 180 delegates from different countries. Discussions of important scientific developments, cooperation for project applications and exchange of knowledge will be organized, exposing Latvia as one of the centres of science of the world.
The 12th International Scientific Conference "Functional Materials and Nanotechnologies – FM&NT-2018" will take place on October 2-5, 2018 in Riga, Latvia. It is an event organized by the Institute of Solid State Physics of University of Latvia since 2006 and has gained widespread popularity among international scientific and academic community. The conference has become a global event involving over 150 scientists from more than 20 different countries, including the USA, Japan, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Russia, European and CIS countries.
The scope of the FM&NT-2018 is - Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies, Functional Materials, Theory and Modelling, Thin Films and Perspective Materials for Energy.
In the individual meetings the possibilities of cooperation, the development of science in the countries, and national and political support will be discussed. Heads of institutions will look for opportunities for joint cooperation not only in the Horizon 2020, but also in the formulation and implementation of bilateral, trilateral and other projects
